Ark of the covenant WIP

Finally my holy grail of prop collecting has arraived. For years I´ve wanted to do the Ark of the covenant from Raiders. Few months ago I decided to star this journey again, but some years ago I payed for a kit that never came.

I began the new year by purchasing Ark of the Covenant kit from Phil Wise/ Blue Realm and it arrived super fast and it was so well packed that it could have been dropped from a plane without any damage In my living room were 5 big boxes waiting to be opened.

This is an amazing kit from Phil, so detailed and all parts made with perfection, communicating with Phil has been wonderful, quick to reply and ever so helpful. Goes above and beyond.

I can't even imagine the excitement of opening those boxes and assembling that kit. Huge Indiana Jones fan and that kit looks great so far.

How are you planning on painting it? Go all-out with gold leaf, or got some tricks to make the resin shine?
