I do and I have a large display of them in our arcade

Here is a pic of when I first started working out the display concept a couple years ago

Some awesome stuff!

I do not collect die-cast, but I have been recently building a lot of 1/72 stuff, mostly carrier based high vis Navy scheme of the 70s at this point

I love your carrier deck display and it looks like you have the Italeri 1/72 carrier deck section with the blast barrier

I was kind of curious where that fit in. Looks like it is the front port side catapult

at any rate, here is where I am at. I still have a high vis A-6 Intruder, EA-6B Prowler, RA-5 Vigilante to round out the carrier jets and a proper slats and flaps down take off ready low vis F-14 to finish. .
I have an F-16 and A-10 in primer as well
I also want to pick up the Hawkeye and a Sea King as well as some more contemporary low vis version of the A-& and Phantom

I could say the same thing about your collection of models

I envy people that can paint the way you have and I normally hire builders to finish my space faring models

My carrier deck is a section of the Ronald Reagan and I that spans spots 3-6

It's too scale but I took artistic license with the lines and details so that it worked with the aircraft I planned to display

I did use the Blast Barrier from the Italeri 1/72 carrier deck section but that is the only part I used

There was no way to blend the plastic deck surface of that model with the printed graphic I used for the rest so I just extracted the BB and worked it in to my graphic

It's kind of like a "static display" set up for a PR day in a port that the ships don't normally stop at

When I was on the Kearserge’s maiden voyage they did this a couple times for foreign dignitaries and they even had aircraft on display that were not part of the embarked squadron

Nice collection!
I've been eyeing this diecast set of the B-17 and the Me-109 by Corgi
if you're unfamiliar with the story of these two google Stigler and Brown A Higher Call

btw- is that an Atlas launch platform under the Raptor?

Sort of, I bashed 5 Atlantis model kits to scratch build the left side details of the carrier

When I was done I had a ton of parts left over so I thought it would be neat to just invent something for the Skunkworks shelf

Some poeple like it and others think it's stupid because it' not realistic

Wow those look amazing for diecast/pre-painted

The process is amazing and it requires so many machines

There is a video that shows a worker placing a prop on the stamping machine and it puts 5 different details on the prop in about 5 seconds with the works changing it's positiona couple times

It pretty amazing but I could find it

Thanks, I finally had some time to work on this display and while I was doing that I decided to "assembly" 2 of my box models for the sci-fi sction of this display

I just finished filling the Star Fighter with plaster and it's on the wall and I'm currently building the Star Fury

Now I just need to find good finishers to get them painted
