Hey everyone!

Just wondering if anyone else has been bulking up for a costume for halloween? I am trying to put on some muscle for Dexter and Tony Stark.

Anyone else changing how they look for a costume? Any awesome beards of growing out their hair or the like?

i was growing my hair for the 11th doctor but now im doing tron legacy so now im concentrating on gaining some muscle and loosing the gut so i look good in spandex. any workout routines going? im doing all body weight stuff

I wish I were. Two months ago there was a plan to go as Batman (comic style), then I hurt my shoulder about a month ago and there's no lifting for me. I can exercise to stay trim enough, but can't lift weights. I've spent the last 7 years of my life religiously lifting... all to go crud over one quick and stupid movement. So now I don't even know what I'm doing.

Yep, Haven't cut my hair since Feb. to get the right length for Logan in XO. About to get it shaped this weekend for a test and then grow it some more. Also bulking up a bit for the look.

I tried the facial hair to match and now it's staying as the wife really liked it.

Same issue. Multiple shoulder injuries spanning from January to March this year, so I'm at 8 months of not working out :)cry) because the injury was worse than we thought and now im staring down the barrel of some surgery. I've lost about 15-17 lbs of muscle, and I'm not a large guy so it really shows.

So much for my plan of "at the Carnevale" Ezio Auditore. Solution: Ironman suitcase suit, since My true frame is mostly hidden. Also adds the comedy option of making the suit battle damaged on my injured shoulder.

Pro tip:

If you're lifting, learn how to properly set your shoulder blades, learn and do rotator cuff warm ups, and actually do a proper warm up and stretching out before lifting. Also, if you do injure your shoulder, even just a strain, take at least 2 weeks off, maybe even a month. You'll lose a bit of progress, maybe as much as 15 or 20 lbs on your benchpress, but you won't end up sitting out 8 months and losing 10% of your total body mass.

Dropping weight so I'm not a chunky mad Hatter and will bring me back down to size so I can pull off a better Maul next year. Gained a few early spring but am slowly shedding inches. LAST year I grew my hair out for Joker. Seeing I'm wearing a wig this year shaved it all off to give the scalp a break and to do Maul for a friends nephews birthday.
Year after that I may break down and do a Jack Sparrow which I'll grow my beard out for when the time comes.

I was going to grow the beard for Jack Sparrow, but my mom's wedding is 10 days before Halloween and I have to shave for it. I could attempt to grow it back, but it'll just be long-ish stubble, so I guess I need a new plan. I guess the old Who stand-by will have to do.

I'm thinking of really Bulking up to go as the Wolverine character "The Blob"!!!

Well...maybe not, I don't think I could really eat that much!

YIKES!!! I still can't get over how thin Christian Bale got for that role, I'm surprised that his health didn't suffer because of it!

My costume is going to be "the machinist" :lol need I say more?

hahah i was just thinking about this, i usually start planning around May/June, but this year im trying to lose 20 to 30 so i can be a thiinner version of the mask. :)

I'm trying to lose some pounds and attempt a beard growth. I'm aiming to get a movie Thor "look" for next year but i need to know if my beard will actually get to that length LOL!!!
