Any love for The Faculty (1998)?

I like it. Fun film, doesn't take itself too seriously, even references the similarities to Invasion of the Body Snatchers and I like the ending.

Wow, seeing so many people having to enjoyed this film is just awesome.

Seriously, I think the DVD could have been handled better. I mean the VHS copy of the movie had the music video for "Another Brick in the Wall" by Class of '99 (honestly, I still have the soundtrack too) and the DVD only had the trailer. And even after 10 years, no special edition with extra stuff. I get that the film didn't do well at the box office, but I thought it became a cult movie after a while.

I think any movie that attains "Cult Status" should have a Special Edition DVD, and there are so many out there.

It's a shame Studios are expecting instant gratification when it comes to Box office returns, if all the studios did that there Never would have been a Highlander TV Series or Sequels, I'm a big fan of the Movie and some episodes of the TV series too.

A Film like "The Faculty" should have a Special Edition DVD and Behind-the-scenes, in addition to Making of the Creature FX!

Funny, I just watched this again late last week. I like it for what it is but I can't really join in on the love-fest you guys have going here. I think the reason we'll never get a good DVD out of it is that I read somewhere on the internet (the only credible source, as we all know :p ) that R.R. only did it for contractual reasons and so it's almost like his Alien 3, it's not really on par with the rest of his "Official" filmography. Not that he had that much trouble making it, but it seems to be the unwanted stepchild out of all the movies he's made. Which is weird, considering the subject matter and the fact it's a Bernie Wrightson/K.N.B. thing like Frank Darabont's The Mist. I can't put my finger on any particular thing that was wrong with it and with the whole The Thing meets The Breakfast Club vibe it should be one of my favorite movies of all time but I still can't seem to get into it. I think there's something wrong with me.

I really loved this movie but I traded it to my sister for her copy of Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Now I'm thinking about picking it up again.

I'm in the "Dirty South :lol

Just put it in my cart at Amazon for next months order! :thumbsup

Apollo- I don't know if you're in the U.S. or not, but Amazon has both the Dimension Films/Buena Vista Home Video release and apparently a re-release of the film done back in April.
