Anovos Protest

Not good... you know I’ve really hoped they would send out the stuff people are owed..

Putting stuff on shelf’s before putting in the hands of their backers.. which I believe ever person who paid for a preorder is.. isn’t good..

I’ve tried to stay positive as it’s my way in life... but I have given up now on them

I’m so sorry for everyone who has invested with this company.. it’s not fair at all

Actually I don't see too much at all in that link from Anovos. Yes, a couple few things but, given what that company was GOING to be?!! If anything it looks like Disney is staying a bit cautious, no?

I will look again though.

I saw a Rebel pilot helmet and FO helmet.

A couple rudimentary costumes in the back - were those for sale? Nothing spectacular and almost in the "decoration" zone.

I haven't got a horse in this race but this is nothing more than fraud by deception. There actions are despicable and in all fairness Lucasfilm should have stepped in by now. It just proves that not only do Anovos give a damn, but neither do Lucasfilm or Disney.

Anovos and EFX have both been shocking appointments by LF. Take the whole lot of them and hand it over to RS props. Harsh comment maybe, but true.

I'd be happier if RS never got the license and just continued making the products that they make. A Star Wars license for props seems to be a curse that kills companies.

I really doubt any of that is Anovos. With all Disney’s resources, I think they can go out on their own and get products made. After all, they have been doing FX lightsabers without having to have Hasbro make them.

I thought it was all manufactured by Hasbro and released under Disney logos.

Whatever the case, the following makes me happy:

A ways back I was conversing with Anovos CS and confronted them about their merch being gone from Launch Bay. And in further exchange about a presence at Galaxy’s Edge the same person said, “keep your eye out ;) “ as if to imply they would re-emerge over there.

And here we are.

And they don’t seem to have **** on the shelves.

Oops!!!!!

Hey, Anovos - tell us again that it is OUR behavior “backfiring” on US, you jackasses.

even better!

There is so much fraud and abuse going on at that company right now I have a pending invoice for a shipping item of my Han Solo shirt they never sold the Han Solo shirt as an individual item and I’m like where is my Han Solo outfit? And no one has replied to me and I’ve sent them seven emails.

ANOVOS .... SORRY NO C.O.D's because it will never show up... But we need your money now! don't worry, after we are sued and when were outta business and claim bankruptcy, the company that takes over, will do the same!! Just wait til you hear what there gonna promise you!!

Well, the good thing is that all of us that have skin in the game can rest assured that we are funding his (Dana's) multiple trips around the country. Sarcasm provided at no charge. Recently, he was at Galaxy's Edge. I don't care if he is selling anything there or not. He's got a business and customers to take care of. A true professional with as many problems as Anovos has should be seen minding his business. Please don't go jet-setting around the country showing you how much fun you are having on OUR dime.

Their booth at Celebration scared me. It was tiny, and barely had any product in it. When I walked by, Dana and Joe were there. They were not selling, you could tell they were apologizing / spinning to whoever they were talking to. I didn't care to talk to them because of the BS emails that we received a couple weeks prior to Celebration. That, coupled with the fact that I had a conversation with them at Celebration VI that resulted in no action.

I don't want to unfriend these guys on Facebook, because I want to get some value for my money. At least I can enjoy their trips vicariously through the magic of the internet.

$40,000? Wow. He should be treated like a preferred customer.

I’m wondering if Disney and the other license holders will be wary of licensing out certain intellectual property with respect to replica props. Or, for example, in the case of Star Wars, all replica licenses will go to old reliables, like Hasbro, which I’m sure Hasbro anticipates. This potential result could be good or bad, depending on your point of view.
