Anovos Protest

You should all get together and try a class action suit. This is pretty much fraud. Other than that all you can do is vote with your dollars... don't buy from them anymore. If everyone that they cheat stops buying, and the story spreads they'll eventually close. It's sad that they ripped off so many people, but there's not much you can do. Going to a convention and telling your grievances to a minimum wage flunky isn't going anywhere. They aren't going to bother sending that up the chain, especially if they need the job. That person working at the booth didn't screw you and don't have any power to help you.
 
Never the less, every revolution starts with one voice and a protest, however small. Let your voice be heard..
 
Everyone attend the panel at Celebration. And when they are announced, let 'em have it like a bad sports team.

But not enough that they have to leave.

They need to stay and answer questions.

Publicly.
 
Had you thought about it earlier you could have applied to the city for a permit to protest outside the venue and then could have legitimately brought up the issue about how they don’t deserve to be in that convention due to their lack of, well, pretty much every aspect of their business model. Food for thought on the next one.
 
Bump. Just remember to boo at that panel. Doesn't need to be overt. Just enough.

Unless we get iron clad promises prior.

Like "all your stuff gets delivered by Aug. 1 or we send you 100 bucks a week until it is also delivered on top of that," kind of promise.

Etc.
 
I can't recall if there was a Q&A at last Celebration's panel, but that would be the ideal time to do something.
 
I just read their second announcement. Let them have it guys and gals! Boo them right off stage!
 
I've only been lightly following this long saga - but in their update on the 5th, they stated they weren't meeting customer expectations for shipping. I'm not very informed and even I know that's not the problem.
 
What’s sad is 97% of the people there won’t say anything because they fear something will happen to them or their product they don’t have. It’s the equivalent of being in an abusive relationship.

I also doubt anyone will have the balls to ask questions when it comes to it, which would be a crying shame.

This panel is the prime, and probably only opportunity to put Anovos on the spot with some serious questions. If nobody asks the “why would it take 3 months to process a refund” and “why haven’t you refunded my, and many other refund requests in six months and now completely ignore any correspondence regarding this” question then it’s an opportunity missed.

If nothing is brought up they’ll crack on as normal with their pre orders, self back patting and calls for sympathy.
