Anovos Kylo Ren helmet COMPLETE overhaul/repaint

Very few people in this day an age put this kind of effort into reaching a higher level of accuracy. Kudos to you, Sir! Kudos and thunderous applause for this fine effort!

You're probably wondering "Is this guy really still working on this, after saying it was finished?" and the answer is yes... yes I am.

While rewatching the film/deleted scenes, I noticed that I wanted to add something else to my weathering on the chrome to really make it look more authentic. While wearing the helmet, or taking it outside, it was tough to actually see the weathering that was on the helmet, as it was very translucent (something I obviously wanted it to be, but it still needed to have darker "spots") To accomplish this, I put little spots here and there of black oil paint and a little bit of a burnt umber as well (not a whole lot though, as I don't want it to look very brown at all, just a little brown dot here and there). The black oil paint helped attach itself to the "thicker" portions of the grey weathering to really sell the deeper, dark look, and match the weathering seen in film.

Here is a video demonstration of how the chrome weathering looks in different lighting scenarios, and also, some pictures of mine with some reference to follow.

(the right side of my helmet chrome is not as dark with weathering as it appears in this pic... that is in fact just a reflection)
