ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

Oh i misread that... okay, thanks.
I just checked the site and Im not sure where i got the $9k ... i must've confused that price with another offering of theirs.
Maybe I'm missing something but aren't we already in Q4 of 2019 and if it is in production now how do they expect to get it delivered by the end of the year? To me this is just more of them misleading the buyer and trying to get others on board to replace those that have jumped ship even though they have not be too good about issuing those refunds.
I'm certainly interested in the Anovos one, but would likely order it from BBTS. And only when it's available for shipping.

Great. My costume will be here maybe in time for MLK Jr. day and Easter.
But yes, we are IN Q4. Something that strikes me as a palpable and garish lack of awareness over at Anovos - they wait to give updates until they can put some kind of spin on it (at least in their mind). For a delivery like this I would like to make sure I am in town and ready to receive/ sign for it. But what is going to happen I fear is some kind of announcement like, "hey, surPRISE, look how wonderful we are! Your costume is on its way!" right up against my ability to plan.
Their Maegen chick said she would update more when she knew more. Which turned out to be a flat out lie.
And if confronted, she or someone else over there might say, "do you want me to spend time finishing your costume or have me write an update?!" AS IF THEIR UPDATES REPRESENT MORE THAN A COUPLE HOURS AT MOST OF ANY SKILL LEVEL IN WRITING!!!!! And NO, aNOvos, we are not naive of what approval you need to get before posting an update, you pompous toadies.
And when aNOvos says items will "begin" shipping they mean that a couple of us will get them in Q4 while they trickle on well into March and April or so. This has happened with them a lot.
But I am talking as if they will ship at all. Pretty stupid, huh?!

I want to say the original price was 2500. Not sure though.
Didn't their big update a couple months back have damn near everything shipping in Q4? WIth all that supposedly going out you'd think SOMETHING would be shipping by now, because the two guys they have doing shipping will need all the time they can get if that all actually showed up to ship.

so let me get this strait so not only do they miss countless shipping dates and continue to out right lie to there customers. any new orders from customers have to pay the price for there bad dealings with the manufactures? Nice job taking care of your customers I don't see how there even still getting people to order anything.
I will order nothing else from Anovos. The only reason why people would order from Anovos at this point is either they do not know about their BBB rating, have never noticed the repeated promises to deliver then a date shift occurs, or posts from people who haven't received their refunds, or haven't looked past page one of this forum. Or repeated use of a neuralyzer, I don't know.
Tier 1 pre-order pricing for the premiere version was $2000 without the helmet, and around 2500 with it. I forget what the price jumped to once that was done, but its been $4k for at least June (whenever you complain to them about spending two thousand dollars to receive nothing after 3.5 years, they'll mention this savings as if it makes up for the fact that you're still waiting).
They've got an update on the Picard Darmok jacket. I got a message a week or two ago that mentioned it was coming. Updates on some of the other jackets (Soloa TFA, Star Lord) are apparently pending too.
Baby steps, if welcome ones. (And the samples look pretty good.)
Since they are praising the new leather jacket manufacturer and taking into account the status of the Solo TFA as "finished" back in Aug, they will have backed themselves into another corner if there are more significant delays with it. And they are now a few days past any "stretched" deadline for delivery in Q3.
Developing a new line of "ready to ship" helmets with no pre-orders is fine... more power to them if they actually deliver and need the to income to fix past mistakes. I don't begrudge them that. But the only true sign that things are being set right will be them shipping one of the super-delayed soft-goods items of higher value. Solo TFA, Kylo, Trek Beyond Landing jacket or whatever it may be.

Hmmmmm...it appears that Corey Feldman received his Anovos Kylo outfit clear back in 2016.
Perhaps if one is an A-lister among the ranks of Willie Ames, Scott Baio, Anson Williams, etc. these are some of the perks, now doubt, that are received?

Well with aNOvos no updates ARE updates.
The next update will probably be something along the line of, it didn’t meet their QC expectations, it now has to be safety tested, the packaging needs to be approved, and the list, as well as, the wait goes on and on and on........................................................................................................

Not that I have seen anywhere. Not a single item in Q3 has been shown to have shipped or been delivered on Facebook or other forums like White Armor that I follow.
