And I think that is a real possibility. As I stated before. Time is money. Take the Solo rig. If they really did believe they could deliver late summer of 2014 (their first ETA). Then they did not plan on the extra two years when pricing. Time is money... that's not just a saying. This it time that they spent money on costs such of redesign, manufacturing, quality checks, not to mention almost a year of storage costs since they have had the rigs stateside for a while now. The money they got for those is long gone. Now you have to ask, did they have to use planned profits from later pre-sales such as Trooper, Vader, etc.. to cover costs of the rig? They also had employees to pay, travel, convention costs, advertising, website costs, and other multiple business costs as well as prototypes for new items.
