We won't be offering them weathered in the near future at all. Again, it was one of those grey area points that LF rightfully pushed back on because it was arguable what was too much weathering vs not enough. This is especially an issue for soft goods, but not so much for Hard goods such as helmets and armor pieces.

GotMaul, thanks for answering my question in regards to the Kylo helmet.

I don't want to stir the pot, but are the images of the *newer* snowtrooper suit suppose to be the final versions? I understand the move away from a particular, alternative *cough* "sculpt" *cough* that was presented initially and quite happy that Anovos has decided to move to the 3D scans.

However, I quite concerned with the helmet as it stands currently. The provided model to Anovos is clearly the suit that's exhibited on the various costume tours. This helmet, however, has had it's physical profile significantly altered through the years of what I can only assume to be a combination of age and severe mishandling over the course of it's travels.

That being said, I can see that the model was altered slightly, but it is still lacking in even a desirable appearance. I do not feel this replica is a faithful representation when backed against how it appears in filming.

I do feel using the scans is an appropriate foundation, but to be honest, the "touch up" work that was done to fix some of the warping appears as though other visual reference were completely ignored, relying solely on this one version that was provided.

To put your mind at ease, the pics on the site are just prototypes. Since then, we acquired originals from LF archives and scanned those in. We also patterned the hood portion off the original as well. Believe it or not, the cut is a lot trickier than anyone or replica has realized. The final product is much better than the site prototype. We have been meaning to change the pictures, but have been working feverishly on it that its tough to select a time to do a shoot and select a destination to coordinate all manufacturing sites to deliver. .

Hi Got Maul. Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions. It's very much appreciated. I have the Kylo Ren ensemble on order and saw that it was pushed from Nov to 1st quarter 2017. Can you please let me know if that is early or late 1st quarter? Thanks!

While the helmets are staying to Q4 2016 shipment, the ensembles are dangerously close to getting pushed to Q1 . We had some fabric coating issues with this last run, where it all begins, and are assessing what this means to the manufacturing run timeline.

Regarding the Han Solo holsters, Got Maul advised, last week, "So we're happy about that and shipping starts next week."

Has anyone received a shipping notice this week? I realize we still have a day left, and if I get my notice tomorrow, I'll eat my words, but I was curious.

Only a few holsters left and the rest are being packaged as we speak. The rest of the delivery should go out this week.

So I'm confused now. The ones posted currently is the one sourced from the LFL asset, not your announcement "prototype"

Got Maul I received notice on 9-30 my stormtrooper helmet kit was ready to ship I should expect a confirmation and tracking email shortly. So when is shortly?

Yea I noticed the helmet only page hasn't been updated with photos of the 2nd prototype based off of the screen used costume scans.

Wait, I am confused. I ordered the wheathered snow trooper helmet variant back in January 2015. Does that mean I'm not getting the wheathered version?

The website still says "Q4" rather than "Shipping now," and I chatted with Anovos CS online to get my answer, but ran out of time when they were researching and they advised they'd e-mail me an answer, which hasn't happened yet.
