Which helmet did you order?I actually just got a shipping notice for an in-stock helmet I bought during their sale on May 4th. I used a gift card I’d been sitting on for two years and half expected it to never ship

Which helmet did you order?
I used to think this way.
It was typo. They meant 2Y...
Yep. That's because BBTS are simply following what Anovos is saying. Not their fault (BBTS), they're as powerless as we are, when it comes to shipping dates.Just to be clear, the 2Q estimate was the one I received from BBTS.

My Mando helmet shipped today (ordered on 3/17). It says it's arriving tomorrow.
Will shoot a brutally honest unboxing video.
And they moved end of quarter 2 stuff to quarter 3,,,,,,,,
I'm super sorry. They've been incredibly unprofessional. I've emailed them pretty much every other day.Still waiting on my 3/13 order. They don't even process them in order received, amazing
Did it actually ship on the 26th or was the tracking number/shipment simply generated electronically. With the current situation, maybe they just registered the package on the 26th, but the shipper didn't pick it up until several days later (probably due to a backlog because of the virus situation). It's happened several times with (non Anovos) stuff I've gotten lately.Turns out they actually already shipped my helmet on 5/26. Which is silly because I reached out to them on Friday the 29th, at which point the rep said it still had not moved from the warehouse...
The package was picked up on 5/26. The label (according to ANOVOS) was already generated on 4/21.Did it actually ship on the 26th or was the tracking number/shipment simply generated electronically. Nice that they shipped the Andor jackets. Baby steps, but steps nonetheless. We're looking at more things getting pushed back in the future, no doubt, but better a trickle than nothing at all.
Aha. Things are just weird right now. I'm waiting on a Conan statue that I ordered from Germany. The retailer (a fairly large, well-known, one from what I understand) generated a label on the 19th... and claims it was picked up by DHL 3 days later but it still isn't tracking on their website beyond being "registered" two weeks later. And back in April, a registered package I sent to the US just stopped tracking mid-transit... it got delivered but the USPS still doesn't show it as such. The package was picked up on 5/26. The label (according to ANOVOS) was already generated on 4/21.
Well done. I an almost hear the captain say, "the armor is in the hold, just go down the steps and pick your kit, its right *over there*"Well, it turns out that Anovos was telling the truth a couple years ago. We can rest assured that our FOTK kits are on the way there was just a little delay once they were on the ship as promised...
Turns out the ship had a little detour but all is well now that Mikey set it free.

The below video talks about current issues with the supply of musical instruments. There are real issues with getting products across many product types. Expecting a replica prop or costume company to somehow have normal flow of product is not realistic.
I know in the cases of Anovos and efx, long delays have been normal. But in this case, there are legitimate issues on top of the causes of the previous delays. It's frustrating, but that's reality.
Looking forward to seeing the video, even if it's shot from a phone. So I just received my Mando bucket, recorded the unboxing right after I got it. Will be processing that shortly. But I am actually genuinely disappointed by it.
Firstly, the whole helmet is way (and I mean way) too dark. Even outside in a brightly lit environment it looks to be a dark gun metal color.
Secondly, the brown weathering, which I was already concerned about, looks worse in person. It's way too much where the mohawk meets the T-visor, and looks to have been painted on with a brush. Like you can actually see brush strokes in some areas.
Lastly, I too have the finger print and blemish issue. I have tried wiping them off, but it's definitely embedded in the clear coat. Which leads me to believe that this helmet was handled when that coat was not dry. It's hard to capture that sort of thing on video with a crappy cell phone camera, but I am not kidding when I say that there are at least 20 finger prints on mine.
The shape, size and fit is nice, but that really is about it. I want to see if I can at least get a partial refund from ANOVOS for the finger print thing. But I am more than likely completely repainting this helmet. It is absolutely not screen accurate this way.
