Another, yes another Rocketeer Jetpack build.

Looks good. I’m very happy with it!

Well, it’s the end of the road for this project. I competed the pack today. Here are some pics.

I may do some weathering next, but overall it’s done.

Special thanks to @el_rocketeer (Instagram) for all his tips and help with the custom radiator.

Thanks everyone for following.
Next is the 3D model, stay tuned at: Rocketeer Jetpack 3D printable kit project.

So after 3 months of sitting in customs; I finally got my Rocketpack kit from Etsy! The back of the center piece was snapped clean off, but after some super glue and a bit of epoxied sheet metal for support; its (mostly) good as new.

How did you get the 2 boosters to sit flush with the center section? At least on mine, the body of the center section is a bit too narrow for them to sit flush. It leaves some pretty large gaps

Also what did you use for the top cap on the fan?

could you coax it with a heat gun? or is it the wrong shape entirely?

It's not completely wrong, but it's also decently far off.

The material it is printed in is hollow and fairly brittle. It already snapped in transit, I'm afraid that it would snap again.

EDIT: So I figured "what the hell?" And left it out in the sun for 20 minutes. Actually bent into shape ok.

The crack opened up a bit so il have to re-apply some more super glue for stability. And whenever the time comes to epoxy it all together il have to do a bit more work to bend the top lip back into the body.

The pack looks great!

I've ordered the same one and am working on it now. Do you have a link to dl or buy the more accurate radiator .stl? I have talked to El Rocketeer (as he made my bf's helmet), but I'm more willing to print it off of my printer.

You made this? Great work! I really love this thing and it has been a great addition to my pack.

Looks really great:cool::cool: and that plaque is always a great add-on(y)(y)
Thank you! Im actually thinking of removing the plaque and placing it in a more visible spot. I definitely don't want it to be hidden when the harness goes on.

Im actually thinking of repainting it too with some Aclad Chrome paint. Im not totally happy with how matte the paint job turned out.

Well, I'd leave it there if I were you. So many little details of a prop are hidden, whether in real life or in the movies. You know it's there and you could always lift the harness to show the plaque to your friends;) (y)

Today I completed the design of a custom bracket to mount the Fan.... this will be 3D printed soon and tested for fit.
@Alkerseltzer If you buy the fan I posted, this will save you a ton of heartache.

Do you have the schematic for this mount or something comparable? I am working on mine and I have not found anything that fits right. Thank you for any help you can give me. Your work is amazing!
