Another, yes another Rocketeer Jetpack build.

what paint did you end up going with?

Today I glued the 3D printed rivets to complete the proper look. The original model I purchased lacked entire side of rivets.

Also painted the guide coat in gloss black.

I love that color! Well done. I also like your top grill; it looks great! Keep up the good work!

Hey, great job so far on your build!

You know, ive wanted for years to do a Rocket Pack build; but have always scoffed at the amount of scratch building required that seemed to be well beyond my skills. However after spending the past hour or so reading through this thread and checking out the great kit on etsy as well the parts on shapeways that you have made available, I think I finally might tackle this thanks to you.

Thread watched. Il be following this one closely.

Cool. I have a few more parts that I printed on shapeways. I have test fitted them and all is good. So I will post those too soon!

Looking forward to it!

I did have a couple questions though. When it comes to the metal hardware like nuts, bolts, flap rods, ect; does the kit come with these or do you just have to figure out on your own what sizes to use? Also, I saw a couple pages back that you were concerned that the flap rods would not fit on the pack due to the design. Have you ever been able to figure this out?
