This was done for a customer, and at his request it was kept pretty clean so the weathering is light. The switch and batterry are hidden in the stand, and the wires to connect the lights are able to be disconnected under the battery tray so the customer can use the rear mount as well as the center body mount if he would like. Again thanks to Mark D, Jim K, and Jesse M for their contributions to the master pattern. Remember if you are intersted in a kit, PM me here or email me at salzo1@aol.com.
thanks and enjoy...

Wow, I've said it before, but what an amaaazing kit Mike!!!

I really would like to get it, the RPF is killing me.

many thanks,
It looks like you covered it all.

where to you get the extra long drill bits? regular hardware places?

Yeah, Home Deopt, Lowes, Sears, maybe even Walmart.....if your only buying 1 it should only be a few bucks, i suggest getting a 1/2 inch one because it gives the wires a little room to move in the cavity. Again, take you time drilling the holes, use some blue tape to protect the body, a little extra care during that part will save you needing to make a repair later...

One other ? thing that someone asked about on this one the Raider can be removed from the base by disconnecting wire clips that are under the battery tray, in short i unscrew the battery tray, disconnect the wire clips, and screw the battery tray back on. This allows the switch and battery to be hidden in the base, but if you wanted to there is enough room for the battery in the battery compartment, and you can put the switch in a number of spots under the body of the raider. Just pick the configuration you are happiest with.
thanks

Forget CG.... a bunch of models of this level of quality, and we can do "The Continuing Voyages of Battlestar Galactica: The Original Series"! :thumbsup

Great work! I was delighted by how much presence and character the model has.
