Another Star Ship

Some progress.

The last place I have to do something.

The empty space of the both sides of the aft.

And here are some pics of the dolls of " Hina Matsuri " (Dolls festival or girl's day)
On the 3rd of March every year, we celebrate the ladies and girls for their happiness and healthy life with displaying their dolls.

And here are some pics of the dolls.

This is my house's O-Hina-Sama (dolls for celebration).

If you have any dolls - it doesn't matter if it's a Barbie Doll, display them and Celebrate for your ladies. ;D

Thank you very much for looking.

Beautiful photos. I love how you show not just pics of your build but also show us little glimpses into your home and culture as well.

Thank you.

Unfortunately I have run out of praise for you Katsu-san...I mean that literally as I can't find any more words to describe how impressed I am or how awesome this build is :lol

I absolutely LOVE all the little greeble detail in this. My brain just can't process that stuff, I'm super jealous of everyone that can throw a pile of bits at something and make it beautiful.

I never noticed those empty spaces there until you filled them. What a big difference now. I love the little surface bits you added too.

Wonderful doll displays too! Very beautiful. My mother used to hang Koi flags outside the house during Kodomo No Hi. :rolleyes

Every time I add extra bits on to something it looks like poop and I spend days prying it back off and fixing the glue spots! :lol

Strode-san and kcghostbuster-san

Thanks for looking, my friends.

I have been given so much from you always.
Thanks, my friend.

Beautiful! Really beautiful

Thank you Tom-san!

Thank you for showing us those! (And it's even more proof that talent and creativity can be genetic.)

I'm not sure about the creativity, but the scatter-brain is completely heredity.:lol

Thank you, Tom-san!

Every time I add extra bits on to something it looks like poop and I spend days prying it back off and fixing the glue spots! :lol
I did that too(maybe worse than you) . So I've just tried to use that method. I could do all those bits within 3 hours. And it was fun.:love
Thank you very much!

Katsu I don't think there enough words of praise in the dictionary for your work. Just letting you know that ;)
greylocke-san,
Your kind words really warm me up everytime.
Thank you very much.
I think I will be able to show you this ship finished with the paint job soon.

I, too, enjoy your displays of cultural significance, and the background stories of those around you, Katsu-san. It fleshes out this thread in a way that makes you so much more than just a robotic model builder lol. Your humanity means as much as do your talents, for I think that without one, there would not be the other! :)

Thank you very much for your kind words for me, Schwartz-san.
And thanks for the wonderful comment for the doll display.
It is my pleasure if I can be a little assistance for you to know the culture of our curious contry.

A strange and sometimes wonderful thing, this internet:

You can work alongside a person for years, yet the only window you are offered to this person is what they say. Here, there is a more immediate window into what they think. And it is in thought that we are who we truly are! :thumbsup

I was spoiled in my youth by the words of Captain Kirk: "It's been my experience that the prejudices people have towards each other tend to disappear when they get to know each other."

I challenge anyone to speak truer words than those...they really are true! :thumbsup
