Another Star Ship

l
Seriously, work like this could EASILY be used in the movies , even WITHOUT paint LOL

just awesome...it seems we can't say that enough regarding this build :)

Then I should paint her carefully for the movie not to be a comedy. :love

Thank you very much for the warm words my friend.:)
All the best

These ships are your own design? Wow. The level of detail is mind-blowing. Some of the pictures from you 'Tempest' build almost look like the interior of a real ship. What fantastic skills you have. It's really a pleasure to look at!

I stumbled into this thread a few hours ago and have gone through it page by page in stunned awe. I absolutely love this build. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this. Your instinct for design is incredible. Truly inspirational work.

Please take a look my friends.

While this ship is cruising, some comets might hit her and the crew have to repair the damage. :lol

I've started to build this section just for my fun but it was so hard for me:lol

This is one of the coolest lighting builds that I have ever seen. Wow. Your patience and attention to detail is admirable. Great job.:)(y)thumbsup

Thank you very much Caveneau-san,

I'll put some more detail there and refine the cut away hole.
Then it might look better.

You come up with the most amazing touches as you go along, Katsu...yet they all look as if they belonged there from the beginning! How you do that, I will never know!! :confused

The section with the windows and lights is amazing. I love your work. Can't wait to see more. Thank you.

Thank you very much, Scwartz-san!

I just wanted to build the model I want to see and no one has ever seen before. However, most of the work and idea I've been doing on this ship were inspired by the great work you people have done here in this place.

The section with the windows and lights is amazing. I love your work. Can't wait to see more. Thank you.

Thank you for looking and your kind comment, winterg-san.

Katsu-san,

I said it before and i'll say it again, layer apon layer of detail, simply fantastic

The profiles you cut are so simple but together they give such depth and the effect it creates with the back lighting is excellent.

This is a master class in scratch building.

So many builds on this forum are of existing subjects its so refreshing to see an original design and in my opinion shows an amazing eye for detail.

Thank you for sharing Katsu-san

Gag-san,

Your words always sound deep in my mind.

Maybe it's because you are well understanding the difficulty and the pleasure of creating something new.

Thank you

Katsu

I just refined the aperture.

Then I started to build the top side structure.

I built several types of mock up with the foam plastic.
And I picked one.
