Seriously, Katsu-San. I am so close to starting my scratch build. Every time I look at this and the Red Bull ship, I think. "I can do it!" (Not as good) but I can.
I swung by a plastic supply shop at lunch and picked up a bunch of scrap they had for $15.00!
It will begin!

AHHH!!!! . you guys have been following this thread since the beginning, me being new I just took this whole build in at one time (spread over 2 hours of reading and studying pictures) my brain hurts. its all been said 1,000,000,000 times but this a first for me, yuumi/katsu you are an artist on par with the greats, amazing detail and conceptual work; not only inspiring but very informative picked up lots of neat little and large tips and tricks. just amazing work thank you for sharing this masterpiece in the making. look forward to more updates.
p.s. no offense but i hate Narita, get lost every time I'm there, yeah i know its a big circle how could i get lost in a round building, no clue but it happens every time...i blame jet-lag

I'm working at the terminal 2 (that is rather user friendly) but whenever I go to the round building of the terminal 1, I still get lost too. :lol

Katsu-san, wanted to say hi and say your progress is amazing! You make scratchbuilding seem so fun - it's like you're just playing. As for me it seems like a constant struggle 
And it has not been kind to my eyes. My vision is starting to get really blurry I've noticed of late. And I've been holding back on getting glasses as I'm thinking the prescription will skyrocket once I start - I may be completely wrong, of course, and I'm doing myself a disservice not getting a pair soon.

Thanks for looking. I got my eyes weaken too. It is so-called farsightedness.
When I noticed that my vision was starting to get blurry, I was shocked but I resisted to buy the eye glasses but soon I got a trouble with making models. So I gave up and bought some eye glasses at the dollar shop:lol I bought several of them and put them here and there. One for the bed side table, one for the kitchen, one for the living room and for the work shack. It's so convenient.:lol You don't have to carry them all the time.
I personally recommend you to get your glasses. Because your model build needs high precision (Far from my choppy work:wacko). Clean vision is very inspiring.

I feel we are twins joined by Scratch building across the world.
It's wonderful to read how many people you are inspiring to start a scratch build, it is so much fun but very slow going, you have to stay very focused on your vision which you have done wonderfully through this entire build, great work my friend.
The problem of colour is one we are going through together, i am still undecided.
It is a very important thing to decide because it could make or break the look of this wonderful ship.
Take your time my friend, the answer will present itself with time.

Yes, I feel that way too. We are building something never built till now and especially, yours are the one which no one had imagine before and will be finished like no one would be able to imagine. As for mine, it's something like a good gambling. As you solve the problem, getting many fun and the excitement. But you don't know whether you will win or lose until it's all finished. (Gag-san is betting with a miracle dice for sure:lol)
Coloring is the issue for us now but I can bet Nylon Gag Mk.1 'all in'!
As for me, I'm thinking what the color of the spaceship of the size of the city should become.
I want you to get what your instinct calls.
I'm sure it's going to be the best shot!
