Another Red Hood... I know i know, just bear with me, ok?

Kaz, it cost about 450 usd to print it the way I did, which was one solid piece, and then the neck seal. I could have done it as a bisected print, which would have cut down costs by more then half though

Starting the priming process, I'm hoping to put the red down by tonight

That is a sexy helmet. But I have to ask: what paint did you use that allowed you to prime, paint red, and then paint the black/silver all within such a short time span?

Krylon baby! Though the chrome might be a different brand, I'll check when I get home this afternoon

Got it. Been using Rustoleum for my own stuff, but if Krylon lets you tape out the details that quickly after spraying (I'm assuming that's how you painted the black and silver?), it would really cut down on my build times.

Yea, krylon dries in roughly 20 minutes, but I let it sit for about an hour to be safe. The only problem I noticed is that the paint will bubble if you lay it on too heavily, but that can be fixed with lighter fluid in 10 minutes or less

dude that is awesome. Red Hood reading about his adventures while working out. Did a similar thing that a convention I was at. I picked up a copy of Red Hood Lost Days, looked at the Vendor and said they got half of it wrong in character as Jason Todd. He and a few others around laughed like crazy.

Started installing the rare earth magnets to hold it together, 4 more and it should be good

First full test fit, I'm going to remake the chest tomorrow, it's too wide to pose with right now

Just a curious question, but are you going for a more tactical look with this Red Hood and thus no jacket? Or are you having the same problem I am in finding a jacket that can actually breath and help me stay cool during the summer times?

I can run either the classic or the tacticool look, based on the way i've set it up, here's a few pictures of the tacticool setup at comikaze this past weekend
