Yep, that's right I'm doing another full size Landspeeder...I actually really enjoyed building the first one and always fancied having another crack at it, so here goes. At some point I would like to make a drivable version but maybe next time
I have the bodyshell all printed and welded together and also got cockpit, engines, flametube, greeblies and windshield former done.
Next is the process of glassing the shell inside and out, and adding an armature for support;

So, printed and then glassing? You need to state this otherwise i will be messaging you endlessly.... in a nice way.
Oh for a work space like that..

Nearly there now...painting the under layers on the bodyshell. First the chrome, then the latex masking splotches and scratches, then ready for the primer and when all that's cured, masking tape the pattern and on with the top coats;

Got the cockpit finished too;

Ok so apart from the windshield, the landspeeder is done...all the painting, weathering etc. You can see that the original was a Joe Johnson paint job...quite similar technique to Slave 1/Boba Fett helmet...lots of liquid masking, layering and washes
