This is the Perth Drummers completed City Watch cosplay at Perth Comic Con. Although it was far from perfect, I’m really happy how it all turned out.

We completed the project in about 2 months over the weekends. As the project organiser/tyrant there was a very steep learning curve for me – I had to learn how to create pepakura models, use bondo and resin, understand that chicken wire has seriously limitations, learn how to use putty and greasepaint for cuts and scars, and figure out spray painting, and countless other little things.

Thanks to Blaxsmyth for the helmet pep file that started all this madness.

We will most likely be going to Supanova together. Spent too much effort on this only to wear it the once

Aaaah bum, I didn't go to comic con as I was sick. Would have been awesome to have seen more Discworld stuff
