Ankh-Morpork City Watch

A friend of mine put on a Discworld-themed party at CONvergence, so I threw together an Ankh-Morpork City Watch costume at the last minute.

I made the badge out of wood toothpicks, craft wood, and found items (the owl, owl's wings and ankh were off-the-shelf jewelery). I used clear decals for the lettering and center seal.

I was really happy with the results, it's not something everyone recognizes, but those that did really loved it!

The North American Discworld Con will be in Madison next year, so I'm planning on improving the costume between now and then with better armor, a helmet, and other Watch accouterments.

There is a Discworld Convention? That's so cool. I used to have most of the books thanks to Sci-fi book club and i got introduced to it via the super rare Playstation games.
