Russ is a good guy, When I see him one of the things he talks (B****) about is how long the gloves are taking. don't worry he will come through for you.

I dont really mind waiting either as long as i know i am actually waiting FOR something. I would like these gloves, but if the project is a bust its a bust and i am going to seek a refund. Otherwise LMK its still being worked on and what the status is and we will keep waiting.
The longer a project takes, the more updates that are needed even if its a weekly "hey nothing new this week, still waiting on the glove maker"
At least those of us who dont know you personally know you are still there

Please let me apologize for the lack of news and updates. Unfortunately, I haven’t have anything new to report and it’s been difficult trying to get new information to share with everyone. Please understand that it is not my intention to rip anyone off or skip out on this project. I know that those of you who joined this project are frustrated, but believe me—nobody can be more frustrated about this project than me.
I started out with my original glove maker who said he could deliver the new run of gloves. He parted ways with his manufacturer and was not able to find a new manufacturer who would agree to do a small run of gloves. He recommended another supplier to me and IÂ’ve been trying to continue the project with the new supplier. She has sent me a prototype, but it wasnÂ’t completely accurate. It was solid tan, and needed a couple of small panels added where the Velcro wrist closures are.
IÂ’ve let her know what needs to be corrected and sent even more pictures of what the gloves need to look like. However, her manufacturer is backlogged due to an extremely large order placed by Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, Wal-MartÂ’s order is considered more important and our run has been postponed again. IÂ’m more aggravated about this than anybody else. IÂ’ve been instructed to and contact my new supplier the first week of January for the next update.
Thank you to my friends who have stood up for me in my absence. I certainly appreciate it. ItÂ’s been embarrassing and frustrating not having anything to report, and that has been one of the reasons that I havenÂ’t been around much. Please feel free to contact me personally if you have signed up for this project or have any questions. Those of you who sent me deposits also have my personal phone number and are welcome to call me if you like. I am not taking any more orders for this project now, but will most likely order several extra pairs of gloves when this project completes so that anybody who is not already involved with this run will be able to order them from me when the gloves finally arrive. I wish that I had more news to share, but unfortuneately, I donÂ’t. Be assured, that when I finally have something new to report, I will be posting here to let everyone know the status.

hey Russell. Thanks for the update. I think the thing is that peeps are not so concrened about the delays as much as they are regarding lack of communication on your part. I know there is nothing new to report, but peeps need to be assured regardless. Just pop on every coupla weeks or so to let us know you're still alive and things are still going forward.

yeah, i just like to know that you are still around. Like when exedge just up an disappeared with a lot of $$$. Everyone kept saying oh he's good for it and he will come through, and he didnt. I dont believe everyone is bad, and i want to believe you and others are good, i just didnt want to fall in and get taken for a ride. If these are going foward you can cancel that paypal refund request and i will stay in as i would like a pair of these gloves. Thanks for the update and heres to hoping it gets done soon

Does this apply to the Jango glove and Biker Scout glove runs as well? Or are they in limbo until the Solo gloves?

Okay-- I'm at work now, so this will be a short post but I'll try to add more later if there are questions. But for the first time in many many months, I actually have something new to report:
I just got off the phone with my supplier. She received a shipment of the gloves last week, but she was not satisfied with the quality of them and thought the workmanship and details were not correct. She told me that if she wasn't satisfied, then she knew that I would not be and I agreed and thanked her. She surmised that the reason that they weren't up to par was because she rushed them to get them done.
She sent the gloves back and specified the corrections that she would like made and asked me again to be patient with her while the details were corrected. I asked for a time frame of when she would like for me to call her back for another update and she asked for two weeks.
So look for another update from me in about 2 more weeks from today with the latest report. I see that I have 2 New Messages for me blinking up there in the corner, I can't get to them now but I will try to get to them soon.
Please post any questions that you have here, and I'll try to respond to them soon also. Thank you again for all of your patience with me... this is probably going to be the last time I do these gloves since they have been such a nightmare this time, so I'll try to fullfil as many requests as I can.
