Interest ANH Chewbacca ALL ALUMINUM BOWCASTER FRAME PLUS +++

I just want to give you guys an update on the parts. I placed the order for all the stainless steel spheres to produce 25 Bowcasters for this run. Even that I haven't received all the deposits and that there is only 12 people signed already I had to order these since these spheres are made overseas and takes 6 weeks to get here. I did the same for The Force Awakens Bowcaster run. My local sheet metal shop will start producing the aluminum insert that goes in the frame where the side plates are attached and the side plates. The spincast molds for the camera knobs, discs and dials will be done in the next couple of weeks and I will post pictures of those. The material aluminum blocks for the frames arrived to the orther machine shop this past Friday and the in the next couple of weeks I will have the first bowcaster frame. I already have Jawajawa827 parts and I will assemble the bowcaster with all the parts. I know some of you don't have the scopes. Field Marshal offers the Single Point scopes, I will see if I can have the Model 7 scopes made of aluminum too, I will need a list of people who doesn't have the scopes yet who want to be in that list. A few prods/bows will be made to take pictures with the frames. Once the stainless steel spheres arrive all the prods/bows will be finished. Triggers will and rear clips will be machined too at the same time.

Is possible to get just the balls? I already have an original Horton Magnum with an intact prod, but I would like some stainless steels balls as they would be more durable than the rubber ones.

Sure, as soon I receive the stainless steel spheres I will let you know. My local machine shop will do the openings for each sphere. There is a half aluminum circle with a step for each sphere which allows a better fit to the prod.

Depending upon the price I'd be interested in these as well.

The stainless steel spheres arrived yesterday. Here are some pictures.

I apologize for not giving any updates. My daughter, my wife and I got Covid. My daughter recovered in three days, it took me twelve days to get better, I am still recovering, but unfortunately my wife been in the ICU for the past three weeks. I started to work this past Monday on my regular orders and the Bowcaster parts are in production and other are made and painted, I will take pictures and will post them this weekend. Thank you for your patience.

Happy Sunday. Thank you for your words and prayers. Today is been three weeks since my wife was transferred to the ICU and ten days since she was connected to a ventilator. She is fighting for her life and in God's hands. We have faith she will recover, I believe in miracles and there are so many people praying for her now.

Here are some pictures of the spincast pewter discs, knobs, dials, I used the very same original camera parts, knobs etc to be able to create true replicas. The side plates will be made of steel, this is because I am going to use strong earth magnets to attach the plates to the Bowcaster frame to the aluminum block that will be inserted in the frame. I am also including pictures of an aluminum Single Poing scope replica I purchased from Blaster Factory so you guys can see how the finished scope assembly looks. I CERAKOTE the single point scope and I used (2) NIKKO scopes. I will be offering these spincast pewter knobs and discs, dials separately. I am still impressed to see all the details on these parts, specially the Russian camera knob/dial. I will assemble a set of side plates with all the knobs/dics/dials and have them CERAKOTE them and I will take pictures. I will also post pictures of the frames and prods with the spheres soon.

My most deepest, most heart felt sympathy, goes out to Manny & his daughter for the loss of his wife to COVID-19. Please keep him & his family in your prayers during this most difficult time. &, if you’re able, please check out the most recent video from Collection Wars, on YouTube, in regards to the GoFundMe account that’s been set up in his name.

Good evening to everyone. Thank you for your words and understanding in this difficult times right now for my daughter and I. I stopped by at my local machine shop today and I took a few pictures of the first Bowcaster frames before they will be placed in the 3 axis CNC machine. I will be posting pictures as the machine shops does progress on them. I have a two month delay on these two projects. One of the Bowcaster frames is the one for The Force Awakens.

This is awesome Manny! Looking great. Really excited for this project, and appreciate all of your hard work during this trying time for you and your family. My sincerest condolences to you and your daughter, can't imagine what you're going through, hoping that star wars and this community can be of some solace and comfort as you deal with this. Wishing you nothing but the best.

Hi guys, happy new year. I will have new pictures of the progress of the Bowcaster frames soon, plus the scopes and the remaining parts. You guys know that it was a rough 2021 for me and my family, I am moving forward with my laife and all the prop projects. Thank you for your patience, prayers and support.

Thanks for this Manny! Happy New Year to you and yours as well. I just got my jawa jawa parts the other day, and couldn't be more stoked to embark on this build! But please know we understand that this is a very difficult time for you, and we appreciate all your efforts and hard work through out!

I thought I sent this post last week on Friday May 6th at 7:23pm, and I found out late this afternoon that I sent this to an RPF Member Kylo Mike by mistake, and not to the thread like I wanted to, which made two RPF Members upset, since I told one of them that after a good conversation we had related the Bowcaster run, I was going to make the update post on Wednesday May 4th, but unfortunately I couldn't, I did it on Friday May 6th, but non at the thread, which I truly apologize to both RPF Members and to all the members that kindly signed for a spot at this run. Here is the post I wrote, that again I made the terrible mistake to sent it as a private message to an RPF Member mentioned above:

Hi, I apologize for the delay giving updates. I been working long hours to catch up with my other pending orders, not easy to work alone and take care of the house, my daughter and the studio at the same time. My local machine shop will have Both Bowcasters frames completed between May 27th and June 3rd. I also wanted to share pictures of the aluminum scopes for The Force Awakens Bowcaster, I am still amazed of how identical they are and I will say better than the original, because they are see through scopes, not solid like the original prop. Lenses were made and the tapered center cap was made using an acrylic rod, just like the original prop.
Another machine shop will finish the prods for me and is finishing the center piece for the Bowcaster too. I will post pictures as soon they finished. I estimate to have all the Bowcasters parts to start assembling them before the end of June, so I can start painting them and weather them.

NOTE: I would like to take the opportunity to add to this post, that I been doing my very best to push my local machine shop to finish BOTH Bowcaster's runs, and in the past month I been in communication to the best I can, to the other machine shop that is willing to produce two parts, and now this machine shop agreed to finish the prods with the stainless steel spheres for both Bowcaster runs. I want also to share pictures of the side plates and the tapered aluminum block that goes in the Bowcaster frame where the two steel side plates will attach usin earth magnets. I also want to thank you guys for your patience and your nice comments about the work done so far, but also I do really appreciate that if any Member is concerned about the parts, issues or anything else, please contact me directly or write your concerns in the thread. Thank you.
