So does anyone have any hints or ideas about how you might go about making a replica of Anakin's right-handed glove from ROTS?Would love to make one to hold my saber when I get it....
Any and all help and advice will be very much appreciated.
Cheers.

It's just to hold your saber? Get a Rubies costume version.

If that doesn't meet to your standards there's a few tutorials out there on how to modify a Rubies to be more accurate. A member here named acerocket found the correct parts for the buckles a while back.

Do Rubies sell the glove separate?
Is the tutorial around here anywhere?
As far as possible i would like to make the gauntlet from scratch and it to be very accurate. It's going to be holding a casting from a screen-used anakin and the saber is going to have original production-made parts in it so I really want to it to look the real deal in my display.:)

There's nothing out there that looks 100% accurate to the real glove. I've seen a few people who have made more accurate versions as one-off creations for themselves. DavidYR1, a member here, was making leather replicas that were close to screen accurate but I don't know if he still is. A bunch of Anakin costumers have modified Rubies gloves and got really nice results.

To answer your question: yes, you can buy a Rubies glove on it's own.

You may want to head over to sonsofthesuns.com. It's an Anakin costume forum. The guys over there would have more specific answers about modifying a Rubies or building your own glove from scratch.

No problem. The glove is the hardest part of the Anakin ROTS costume.
