An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

I'm going to start building this pit today now that I have all of the parts. (except the Sealab) I'm looking at 17.8 mm for the height of the sidewall. Does that sound about right? I don't want to glue things and find out I'm too short. Thanks,

Got to agree with you here, there's NOTHING worse than finding out you're "too short." Even if only by 1/10 of a mm.

If the train fits in the station, then she's a fit. In this case, the Harrow train piece is the key height indicator on this mandible pit.

Wait, we're talking about model building, right?
 
To be honest, and I know this is nit picking. It looks about .02" short. That could just be shadow on the pic of the original or lens distortion of course. That's just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.
