I....just....melted...my...Tiger....II....turret...insert Charlie Brown ARRRRRRGGGGGGG here....
Well ya see....twas about to try and flatten it out after cutting and sanding it purdy like. Tried the Mrs. Revlon 8K HD hair dehumidifier and it just didn't get er done. So I said to myself, "Hey dummy, why not try a heat gun?" (I have obvious self loathing issues) So that' what we did.Ouch! Melted? HOW did you melt it? Resin casting? Heat source? Open flame? Tragic, either way, but still, give us the details so we can learn from your mistake.
Oh ouch, and holy shitake mushrooms, that's no good at all. But at least you thought to flatten yours before molding it -- I clamped the heck out of mine and it still came out with the curvature baked in.Well ya see....twas about to try and flatten it out after cutting and sanding it purdy like. Now before trying the old gentle cycle with the heat gun, I decided first to iron out some rumples in my cuttin' mat. Now after hitting it a few minutes with the temperature of the sun, and settin' some of them there heavy learning books on it, I had a nice flat mat.
HOWEVER....Ya see, I forgot, on an account I's ignorant, that she was still set on the surface of the sun settin'. So when I blasted that there tank hull, the itty bity piece right by the hatch....well it just done curled up like a one of them there Cuban ceegars.
