Haha too slow. Hey hope my early response didn't come off as snarky. Tone is so hard in text. I just couldn't think of what area you were talking about.

I built the PG pits today and took some measurements. I also took pics to give a 360 degree view of the pits. I added all of them to the Bandai Scans folder mentioned above.

These are the interior measurements I came up with from one side of the pit to the other.
Starboard Bottom Front Pit 24.64mm x 3.51152 = 86.5238528mm = 3.4 in
Starboard Bottom Rear Pit 25.30mm x 3.51152 = 88.841456 = 3.5 in
Starboard Top Front Pit 24.67mm x 3.51152 = 86.6291984 mm = 3.4 in
Starboard Top Rear Pit 25.39mm x 3.51152 = 89.1574928 mm = 3.5 in

Port Bottom Front Pit 24.95mm x 3.51152 = 87.612424 mm = 3.5 in
Port Bottom Rear Pit 25.62mm x 3.51152= 89.9651424 mm = 3.5 in
Port Top Front Pit 24.64mm x 3.51152 = 86.5238528mm = 3.4 in
Port Top Rear Pit 25.22mm x 3.51152 = 88.5605344 = 3.5 in

Good just cking. We didn't get our daily map, so I was concerned, ; ) Enjoy your vacation. It's hot as the hubs of Hades here. Can't do anything but research here now. Have a good one,

Joe

Amen to that Joe, the sweat is interfering with my glue ups!
Man you're not kidding. I go out in the shop, and I'm like naw, not till dark. It's been upper 90s to 100 with heat index of 110 to 120. My blood pressure is too high for that, lol.

I've used simple green cleaner to soak parts. Sometimes it will break the glue bond. You might want to test it on a part you don't need. Putting it in the freezer works sometimes too. Good luck,
; )

I’m trying the freezer method first. I’ll leave it in overnight and try tomorrow.
