An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

My Chieftain came with the screwdriver part, that's why I quoted the kit. I only have the newer releases of the Centurion, which like Stu said, don't come with the parts.

Thanks for putting others on the right track Stu.

Hey Sparky,
For clarification, does your screwdriver parts look smooth and rounded like this, per the scan I have of the Chieftain?

Or are they square faced like this from the vintage Centurion?
Which I am yet to acquire, sigh!

Edit: I suspect that both kits are correct for 1st release but were later changed or dropped altogether in the case of the Centurion.

Hey Bjorn, Square faced in the vintage Chieftain kit I've got, that scan could be a later release:unsure: If you're still yet to acquire the Centurion for your build, like Stu said might be best to get a vintage one of those so that you are guaranteed to get the right one.
I picked up the kit which was second hand and partially built, plus it had a few other parts thrown in....maybe they had a vintage Centurion as well?

Thanks Rich,
I have picked up the second release which does not have the screwdriver, but it looks like I'll need another anyway (vintage this time), as like yourself, I'm strongly considering joining the dark side and going a largely styrene build.

Not exactly quicker and easier but certainly more seductive!

Have started obtaining a few duplicates already.
Cheers!

If anyone can help with these, I'd appreciate it. This will just about finish up the map of the back. Thanks,
John

These will need double checking-
8) Tamiya 1/12 M23
10) Revell 1/72 Ju88 A4
11) Bandai 1/48 Hetzer
7&12) Tamiya 1/35 M36 Jackson
refer back to post #163
Thanks. Not sure how I missed the ones I already posted. Lol. All the pics are starting to blur together.

yeah.. i know what you mean.
i only happened to go back because it looked like you had identified 11's counterpart earlier in your last part map above it looks to be the other half of the same engine block from the Hetzer (?)

Is this the right Fokker for part 19? The parts maps say 1/9 but I think they mean 1:19. Has the yellow piece ever been identified?

If I am not mistaking 14 are these parts... (Sorry had them already bagged up)
They are under the total assembly.
Morgan Roadster 1/16 I think. But someone has to give the final yes on this.

edit: corrected in later post = honda racing 1/6

Yes mine was from Arii but I think this one is correct. You also need this for the cockpit.

Not sure if the parts pictured came from that kit, but I know there are parts from that kit on this assembly and used on the cockpit.

they can also be from the Tamiya 1/6 CB70 Racing...

sorry for the confusion, anyway you need both :)

I think I remember now... LOL
You see the broken of piece to the right of 14. Thats the Morgan part.
And the pieces from 14 are almost sure from the honda CB70... If you look at the Grot maps you see they are ID'd that way.
