An LED wiring question

Hi everyone, I'm working on trying to light some 72nd scale Star Wars models (the X Wing, some TIE's and the Falcon) and have got the placement and configurations of the LED's themselves down, but I could use a recommendation on what the thinnest, most flexible wire I could use would be. As a lot of you know, the tolerances inside the Bandai kits are tiny, I'd like to make it as easy as possible to hide the wires. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

I used some telephone wire on mine. That's about the smallest I could get my hands on, and each strand of telephone wire has 6 or 8 (I can't remember) individual strands of wire inside with their own coloured insulation. Plus, it's all single strand copper.

That was a great suggestion Keiko, thanks! I didn't have any phone wire but had a low profile CAT 5 network cable that yielded fantastically thin pairs of wires that are nice and flexible. Thanks again!

I also use CAT6 cable. It's great, and if you know any installers, you can get the kind that is a single, thin wire. it's great for bending into shape where it'll stay.
