Set myself a quick build for a party but going to use this as something to work on in future and make it really perfect. So what I'm showing you here was 4 days work!

View attachment 203912 This is the finished fast cast blade, had to do a quick paint job on the friday as i needed it for the next day. But because i made a silicone mould i plan to make another blade, dremel it to perfection and then make a new silicone mould but not in two parts!

As you can see i made a apron to match, can upload details on how i made that if anyones interested!

Can't bring up your last pic attachment . but I think it looks great...

Sean..

Will upload more pics soon, plan to do more work and dremeling ready for the London film expo this weekend!

Ok so it has taken me a while to update this but i finished the silicone mould so i can make multiple blades! Hooray! I decided to give my first pull to my friend, after it had a trip to a mad hatters tea party that is! 998190_10152948284045447_902780454_n.jpg

photo copy.JPG945614_10152953688330447_1137812970_n.jpg Apologies for the poor quality images, did it in a week so i didn't have time to get a good pic. I plan to use the mould to make some more blades of a better quality!

Started recasting the blade again (In response the the last question .. a late response.. It is 24 inches long!). I've got to order in some more materials but i'm going to set up a etsy page to start selling them, If anyones interested I shall post a link when its up and running :)

I like the blood splatter on the blade but I can see that there are at least two shades of red. I take it that it must be that you have red hair reflecting back off the metal finish and be about 5'8" or so by the height of the suns shadow? :)

Hahaha maybe! Heres how i did the paint job anyhow: I use a base of black spray over the whole blade, followed by silver spray on the blade and gold acrylic dry brushed on handle.. I then spray antique copper over the handle to dull it down a bit. The blood is made up of two reds! .. once slightly pinky red as a base followed by the bright red on top. I found this made it pop a bit more :)
