Am I doing something wrong?

I'd tell the guy to get bent.

But ask yourself this: if you sold something you built in the junkyard for 50 bucks, and the buyer turned around and sold it for 100, would you be pissed??
[/b]

In that situation the only person that should be pissed or disapponited is the seller himself for not asking more in the first place. If the buyer can make a buck good for him, nothing wrong with that.

Ok, now its time to put things strait. First off let me say that I am sorry for sounding like an a hole about the EBay thing. Please understand that I am not company like MR, just a regular guy trying to put out an affordable replica. I have a huge financial investment in this project and I am just trying to protect that investment. I have a great appreciation for the RPF and its members, which is why I made the Blasters available at a lower price. The blasters wholesale at a fixed price and I lowered that by 25.00 exclusively for the RPF so members could get the lower price. I am not MIM I only wholesale to them and other stores as well. As far as why I have them on EBay 225.00 is because I had to start a new business account for company tax purposes, and as you all know I cannot sale it at a fixed price yet due to low feedback and I did not want people bidding over 250.00 for it.

Again, I apologize for any offences to RPF members, just trying to be one of the good guys.

I am just curious here, because I am confused about some things. I ordered mine through MiM because I was wasn't a member of the RPF at the time of the offer here. they cancled my order once because they changed the billing on their site. And then again I had to cancel because they said they would have to charge me at the time of the order rather than at shipping time as everybody else. Then recently they told me they they have "no method of payment" from me. I was a little mad at them because others that I had told about the gun there got theirs before me. I told them they need to figure out what is wrong with my payment(all funds are there) and just help me get my gun(and get their payment). I told them I could have purchased it from somebody else cheaper. So they wrote back to me telling me they are the only ones selling them and the ebay seller is them. So if you are not MiM and you are the one selling them on ebay, what am I missing here (except my gun)?

I do not know why they told you that they are selling on EBay when in fact they are not. I had just had a call from MIM regarding this matter. All I can say is that they are bombarded with processing there orders. They are my biggest vendor with over 300+ orders and was told that they are moving as fast as they can to get them out.

Communications skills are by far the worst thing about MiM and for that same reason I've had nothing but BAD dealings with them. They fail to get back with you in a timely manner, sometimes taking weeks or months. I've placed an order only to have it canceled 4 months later without refunding my money which took another 45 days. I've had two orders shipped with the wrong item and one that arrived broken into pieces twice before getting one packaged well enough.

I hope your transactions go smoother... thanks either way for producing a very affordable blaster.

I just want to know for sure they are going to ship it to me or not. Everybody else got an email that they would be getting it soon. Because of my problems with their billing before I was concerned about getting it or not. I just want them to tell me everything is resolved on their end because There are people here who I can still buy it from cheaper and have it sooner. They still haven't given me one straight answer. Every email says something different and when I log into my account there it still says they haven't charged my account. I don't want to cancel my order with them but they are making it impossible for me. I used to work for a company shipping out 3D viewers to large corporations and individual buyers and we were able to ship out hundreds in a day with just me and one other person even though we had other jobs at the company as well. Because of me atleast two other people ordered guns from them and one of them has it already. I have been looking forward to this gun since June. I am suffering here...sorry to be such a crybaby

Yikes. I didn't know MiM was such a rough deal.

I had ordered a blaster from them before the offer here came along and rather than cancel, I just stuck with it. I did receive a shipping notice (should be here later today, actually) but now I'm nervous that it's going to arrive in pieces.

Hopefully this will work out okay for everyone.

Rmtndndo,
Thanks for making the offer on RPF for those at a better price.
That's a cool thing to do.

Obviously, this thread was all about someone getting one without knowing the history and you not knowing who they were, etc.

Glad it's all cleared up now.

I knew this was going to be trouble when I saw the link to the auction in the junkyard.

I do agree that the ebay seller is out of line, but I also agree with Matt... it does feel like you're trying to make some bank on the sale. This is of course your prerogative as owner of the piece.
[/b]

Explain to me how he is making "Bank" on it if he is selling it for LESS than he paid for it?

That is why if I want something from MiM, I just go to their store up in Los Angeles. (I know everyone cannot do this, but they are very helpful in person and some really cool statues, props etc. in there)
