But serouisly, Almost Human was great. Loved the tech and hardware. I think they could have extended the animosity and tension between Kennex and Dorian a bit longer.

Now…Kennex? Detective John Kennex? How many more detectives (or, for that matter, just regular main characters) named John (Kimball, McClane) will we have to suffer, with or without silly last names? Colonel John Matrix? :sick

I like the pilot, it's a great start and Dorian is definitely my another favourite android next to Data! The future settings are very convincing and sometimes I do see Karl again as Dredd in some scenes with his voice :lol. I really really hope it'S lasting longer than two seasons.

I was thinking Blade Runner myself when I saw they had synthetics, glad to see I wasn't the only one. I'm just waiting for some woman to walk up and ask if he likes their owl. Question about the body armor Urban uses, does anyone know what type it is? I've seen the exact same one used in something before but I can't place it.

KU was great as usual. The show was meh in my opinion. I think the buddy cop show is a bit spent, even if set in the near future. It felt really dated, almost like someone from 1985 was trying to show 2025. The presence of current year cars driving on the roads always drops my believability level and sort of ruins it for me. Yes they had a few "future cars" on the road but a lot of the cars ( more than if there were vintage owners) and clothing styles were from present day. As pointed out, this near future cop show has been done to death. I give it one more season at best.

The car is very RoboCop.
It doesn't seem the synthetics in this story are anywhere close to being recognized as life.

Done before.....30 years ago.....
and it hasn't been properly reproduced since.
I'm not saying Almost Human lives up to the glory of Blade Runner or RoboCop, but I haven't seen anything this well done in.....well...30 years!
Has it been done before? Most definitely. But I'll be glad to have more of shows like this.
