All metal Blankfiring Mal pistol (Firefly)

Finally made a start on this. So far i've made the octagonal barrel from square brass stock and the grip area from ally plate.
Got the wood grips and set of thumbscrews (not picced) from Phil.

Once finished will shoot .22 short blanks - give a nice report but not stupidly loud.

OMG. I thought for a minute it might be a REAL gun.
the MINUTE someone makes a kit to go on a real taurus and can still shoot properly without increasing chamber pressure, Ill buy one.

I too am looking forward to seeing your progress. I hope you may be able to post some video once it is ready for firing.

Looks great.

Is that a Taurus 85 you're using as the base gun? The trigger and trigger guard looks slightly off, compared to the resin cast... or is that simply due to the resin casts casting process?

Other than that... cool project and looking forward to more updates. :thumbsup

No it isn't, its a cheap starter pistol basically. Here in the UK we can't just buy any old gun we like.
The Trig and guard are different and I may od them in time, depends how it looks when more 'done'.
