Since I'm now officially a collector/enthusiast for the Alien movies....I had to chime in and say: Terrific suit.

Agreed, on mine I used a number of different grey shades and then worked them in on highlighted areas (ribs etc.). Originally for Aliens they used browns but I always preferred the grey look of the original (even thought its probably not quite so screen accurate being the aliens design and alien colour scheme).

I really like what Batnemo has done with the "extra" pieces he's made himself. On mine I painted the bodysuit with liquid latex so at least the suit would look like a complete entity rather than the "latex applications on cotton suit" the Aliens movie suits. However there are a couple of places on mine where somethings missing (like where the tail meets the back) so I'd be interested in seeing what you've done. The fact that your jaw has a "bottom" to it is great too.

Both of you....incredible job....man I love that suit....I can't get over how good it looks....do you have to be a certain height/build for it? How much is one? Is there a Queen version LOL....not sure I would play a Queen :$ ....but with those special articulated stilts and arm extensions, a Queen is not outside of the realm of possibility...the reason I say so is that a Queen would be better suited to a big guy...

A Queen would be awesome but imo way too heavy for a single person. For the movie IIRC they used a crane for the body/head and then 4 guys for the arms (I remember the test footage on the original Aliens legacy - not sure if its on the quadrilogy).

I got mine at the end of last year and as a raw latex kit it was a lot of fun putting together and painting. pm me for info

yes i have a lot to do, my project is same as Jez, for highlighting all, withgrey, blue and silver...
the teeth need too...
i want to add tender for the jaws... and some fixation for a fishing wire for supporting the tail when i need but before that i need to sand some area and put more layers of black latex...

so here are some pics of it, i took last night...

sorry if i don't respond quickly, cause, i'll be out during the next 2 weeks...for holliday... again... i know,my work is so cool...

I wasn't too sure when I saw the first of the night pictures, when it's catching the full glare of the flash, but the rest of the photos show this suit is looking fantastic. Great form.
