Advice with Smooth On products- Rebound 25 and Dragon Skin

Question for anyone with experience with Smooth On silicon rubber products....

I have a piece I've gooped with Rebound 25, only it seems, as usual, I could use a bit more Rebound before I make the mother mold. I have pretty good coverage of my sculpt, but in some places it's not much thicker than 1/8th inch (it's 1/4" or more in most places). I'd really like to get another coat of Rebound on it before I go to mother mold, but I'm short on time, short on funds and don't have 2 hours to drive to my semi-local Smooth On dealer.

BUT I have a 2 gallon tub of Dragon Skin on hand. Can I supplement the thickness of the Rebound with Dragon Skin? I realize the flexibility of Dragon Skin doesn't make it optimal, but it might add enough thickness to make it worthwhile.

Anyone try this before? Will the Dragon Skin adhere OK to the Rebound? Is it worth it, or will the flexibility of the DS be a waste of time and materials?

Any advice would be welcome, Thanks in advance.

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the dragon skin will inhibit against the tin based rebound. no way round it, gotta use the rebound.

unless i have my products mixed up and rebound is a platinum silicone, not a tin based one
