Hello all, im in need of some assistance on the best way to go about molding this palpatine prosthetic im finishing sculpt work on. Im gonna cast it out of dragonskin fx pro silicone with slacker to make the brow and cheek fleshy to the touch. For the most part know how a prosthetic is cast but my worry is if im gonna make the negative mold out of resin will the severe undercuts prevent the postive from demolding or would it be better to cast this in a two or three part mold? im initially going to cast it with silicone so i can make a resin master so a simple one piece will be fine on the clay as i can just tear off the clay and clean the negative. Its if i ever want to make another mold off the resin master that worries me. Hope this isn't too confusing. Here a pics of the sculpt so far.
Cheers,
Andy
