Hello Gentlemen and Gals,
I have had this idea for a while that I wanted a replica/prop collection of my favorite superheros I do have a collection already consisting of masks and helmets but as I was admiring my favorite comics lately I had an idea. Why not go all out and get premium replica costumes for not only a beautiful display but for the occasional convention or family costume party. I'm extremely interested in creating a display of Alex Ross inspired costumes, first starting with Superman and Batman, I understand this could be a little ambitious for a novice with no skills in costume making and so for this I'm asking you talented people to help me on this adventure. I love the way Alex Ross sticks with the simple classic look of the costumes and so I thought I might look into either sub dye or unitards for the base of the suits and from there find accessories that match the artwork. But I definitely need the assistance of you fine folks, where do you think I should start to look for the base of the costumes and I would love to hear of any sources with accessories that would match the look I'm going for and in advance thank you for all your help!
