Sorry to revive a dead thread but seeing as google ranks this thread pretty high on the list of results for this topic I am posting here my model of this pistol, designed for 3d printing in fusion360, for best visibility. You can find STLs here: Ad Astra Pistol by Maker HQ
I NEVER understood how even a response years later is "SPAM" or other violation. It takes years sometimes to get the information to finish out a build or a thread. I always loved this design and the film. I AM STILL SEARCHING. I consider this an open ended thread until we can make replicas. This response just picks up where left off and is relevant. I want to communicate with anyone that can help me build a replica. I followed the link but have no idea how to purchase/download/obtain the STL printing files.

You and me...and other people. How can it be spam when, as you said clearly, it takes sometimes years to get the info/pics of certain models/props/costumes, etc...?
We are just trying to share resources and obtain the means to build a replica. I thought that was what the RPF was all about. I NEVER want to break a rule - I know they are there for reasons. But following communication over decades is necessary for some rare items of interest. How many years and how many threads are there of the Blade Runner pistol? and still going. Star Wars Props and weapons are constantly being updated. Found items and identification of items is a constant research project. Thread warnings and messages are frightening, stressful, and who knows how many people saw the thread and NEVER responded because of the warning. I have no way of knowing what I missed.
