AAV Drop Ship

Hi! My friends,
It's been a long while since I post up before.

Here's my good news.
My wife has been recovered from her depression and will be back on work from June 11. Because of the corona virus, her company's president has prepared a wide work place for the employees. I guess it will work for making a good spacing. The president even paid her full salary for four months while she was absent. Also, he rearranged the staff assignment in order to make a good efficiency which turned her work place very comfortable. I met this man before. He demands very high standards of work, but he is always concerned about the well-being of his employees.
It may take a couple of days to catch up her job but I hope she does it slow and easy.

My ruined model is gradually being repaired. Still it may take a little while but it will be back as it was.

I will start making her 'bento' again soon. It's gonna be a very pleasant job for me.

I thank you very much for the kind and warm words my friends gave us. You will never know how much we appreciated your kindness.
Tom-san, Ken-san, Ged-san (your kind comments to my daughter's You Tube video always make her happy), Analyzer-san, George-san (Thank you very much for your kind PM for checking us!) , And Bengrim09-san and many other people here.

I am very afraid of the situation you have in USA now.
Available information obtained in Japan is very fragmented and complicated, and the Japanese media are heavily biased.
Anyway, I hope the soonest solve of this crisis and secure the safety of you all.

All the best,

Katsuhiko, Yuumi, Yuki and Miki Fujihira

That’s really wonderful regarding your wife Katsu-san , I’m sure between you and your families continued support ( along with positive changes in her workplace ) , that Yuumi ( your wife’s name right ? ), will be getting back to her old ( improved ) self again. Thank you for sharing the good news !:D.

I’m looking at the pics of your damaged model and , on the one hand it saddens me to see it ‘as is’ ( you’ll make it better than before though - I have no doubt ) , but on the other hand knowing that you’ll be preparing ‘bento’ again !!! - make sure to take & share lots of pics !:p , makes me very happy !;)....

Lotsa love and best regards to all ,

Ged

Katsu-san,good to hear from you.Very happy to hear that things are improving for all of you at home, in particular for the misses (Yuumi-san).Excited to hear she can slowly start working again and that her boss is mindful of the well-being of his employees. That's when you know you are at the right place with the right kind of people.Good for her! I wish her a smooth start after her recovery.

Naturally all the best for the rest of the family as well; a smooth start for all of you for that matter.Nothing beats things returning back to normal after a period of unrest.I wish this upon the rest of the world as well.

Your build is on its way back to functional, Katsu-san.Just remember the passion you feel inside for this hobby, this particular design, and you will find the motivation to continue. We will be here at the sideline cheering you on! Banzai!

Welcome back, sir! It's good to hear you and your family are doing well! Your work is always inspiring to me. Visiting Japan is on my bucket list. If I ever do get there, we should have some tea!

I'm looking forward to your work on this build.

Your model got ruined? I missed something. What happened?

That was in a middle of April. I was cleaning and organizing my work shack. One 6 feet 8 x 4 timber which was hang down from the ceiling has fell right on the model. four engine nacelle and each hinges were damaged badly. So, last two month, I had to repair those damages.
That was so hard to keep my motivation for a couple of weeks from the mishap but recently, the model became slowly getting the shape as it was. So, I came to see the little hope ahead. Now the model recovered all 4 engine nacelles and robust hinges. Now I'm working on recovering outer skin of fuselage. So I will post up the progress again when it's recovered the shape of 2 month ago. :)

This weekend, I will visit a nearby shrine and the temple of my father's tomb. A lot has happened this year so I haven't been there yet. There, I thank God and the spirit of my father for the recovery of my wife and wish the prosperity and health of all my friends in RPF.

All the best,

katsu

Wow, sorry to hear that that happened. But, I believe in the end you will make it better.
This kinda happened to me a few years back, but it was my girlfriend who stepped on it because she wasn't paying attention to all my stuff on the floor. But then I was only using posterboard, but because everyone here helped me learn about styrene, later on I started over and used that and it turned out a million times better than it would have. Still, I feel your pain. Glad to hear your getting through it.

Oh, those things always reminds me the old Chinese story. 'An Old man's horse'

An old man's horse has gets away - unlucky
The horse come back with a female horse and birth a pony - lucky
Old's man's son rides the pony and play around. Fell and broke his leg and disabled. - unlucky
War started and every young son in old man's village has been recruited except his son and they are all died in a battle field. - lucky

We can't tell what's the lucky and unlucky but we are lucky so far don't you think?

Thank you, Mickael-san!

It's wonderful to see how things are finally turning around for you Katsu-san. You're blessed with a beautiful family, a positive attitude and of course, mad modelling skills. :)
