AAV Drop Ship

My wife and I are both at home now because of this pandemic. I'm attempting to turn this into a project building opportunity but my wife is dreaming up projects of her own left and right.
I'm trying to build an A-10 converted to a seaplane with the wings of an S-3 Viking. I'll show you when I have something worth taking a picture of. Look up the Russian BE-200 seaplane to get a rough idea of what this might look like.

Nice to hear you are both doing well.
And looks like I would see your another inspiring build project.
A-10 seaplane version with Viking wing. Interesting. Your plane is very realistic and practical. My present build is bit inspired by your previous work. Please post up when the concept design has done.

Few days ago, I was gonna organize the wiring and connect the nose fuselage but I found a crack on the main hinge of rear engine. Yesterday, I started to fix it and may take a few more days. That design was bit weak for the stress. That the good chance to review those.

I hope you both have a good creative day off.

Hi! Friends,

I hope you are alright and doing a good indoor activity.
We are all well and doing fine everyday.

Well I got a few step back of the progress of my model now.
I'm rebuild all four wing hinges. As I said before, I found a crack in one of the parts and I thought I should refine those design a bit.
A few days later I was cleaning my shack and one of the wooden log hanged on a ceiling had fallen onto the main wing and the both engine nacelles have been damaged seriously. So I had to repair them. The work has been almost done and will be finished in a few days.

Here's a little good news for us.

The wall has been restored.
The work had started at this February and finished this week.

That was a September last year. The big typhoon had hit the vicinity and our old wall was corrupted and ruined her little garden.
That was a terrible disturbing event for her.
She loved this garden so much and pick and brought many flowers in every room.
I think that was one of the reason she suffered the depression.

The garden is still empty now but she will restore it as it was or even better.

Here we are losing many things and people by the disease every day.
I am so sad to know about the present situation of New York, L.A. and many other province of USA and UK, EU.
I want to express my sincere respect to the people working and fighting against this situation every day.
As usual, we Japanese may not be your big help at this time but Yes, I believe you will get over this situation as you always do.

All the best to my friends,

katsu

glad to here from you and everyone seems healthy

That sucks about the the setback with the build, but the second time around might be better, for both the model and the garden

Great to read these good news from your home.

Thanks for your kind thoughts about our situation (in France AFAIC) and about our hardworking people to save and help others (in the Army AFAIC).

All the best
And keep safe

Good to see that you and your family are doing well Katsu - san , especially appreciate hearing that your wife’s feeling better too !:D.
As you say , if gardening is a ‘pleasure’ for her then ‘hard work’ aside ( I myself loathe gardening:rolleyes:! ) maybe it’ll prove a bonus during this period.

Shame about the damage to your latest build mate , but perhaps it was a ‘sign’ that version #1 wasn’t meant to be after all !?
I’m pretty sure that whatever you end up doing for version #2 it’ll be fantastic !

Keep taking care mate !
