A sticky question.... glue related..

Hi all..

Recently purchased a partial set of FX TK armour...however, the original owner swapped the shins for fibre glass versions.

Question is, I want to put the ABS strip down the front (as seen on the accurate suits)...but what kind of glue would be best to glue the ABS to the fibre glass ?

Can use pipeweld on the other bits, but this has me stumped.

Also what would be the best way to prep the fibre glass to take the glue ?

Any advise would be great.

Flexible epoxy...

The Devcon Plastic Welder will work fine...

For prepping the fiberglass, make sure it's clean and carefully rough it up with some sand paper to take away the gloss, and if it's painted, it wouldn't hurt to remove the paint down to the resin under it before glueing...
