Ok I have no time to do the Magneto costume I've had Buzzing round in my head for a while.
This is due to decorating and filling my time outside of work doing graphics for my mates lets plays.

So it's time to come up with a plan b as Newcastle Comic con is in a couple of weeks so at the suggestion of a friend, Space Dandy it is.

Here's what I'm aiming at



Here's he base


The playstation move pistol is not too accurate but was way too much of a gift interns of look to turn down.



Just needs a bit of an attachment to the front to give it that rounded cone look.

Then as that's not properly accurate, I'm gonna go a different direction with the boots too.



I just kind of like the idea of a pair of space trainers.

Ok with he deadline looming I'm promising here I'm going to finish this one and if I try to back out I want you guys to ride me for it .

the most important part is his necklace, another quick detail would be his bracelet/phone/thingy and a "boobies" frequent buyers card

I agree. Hadn't thought much about the neckline to busy obsessing about the making of stuff.

I'm not too worried about the wrist band I'm sure I can make one pretty quickly.

The Boobies card is something. If like to do to top it off I've been trying to get decent reference of both sides.

Also the pendant/ charm which also should be pretty simple. But for the moment I'm focusing on the big things. Because that tends to be where I get stuck.

1 found something for the barrel of the gun.

2 Paint everything in PVA glue



Oh and I've started the communicator bracket. As you can see. Because my job doesn't let me have apple watches for free boo!

3 Attached the foam to the front of the shoe.


And complete the other toe cap


This ones a lot neater.
Right off to listen to Viva Namida on repeat to keep the momentum up

Yeah I thought they'd be easier than they are. Hopefully they hold up all day I've already had to do a couple of fixes. So not sure how tough they are.

Sadly the belt is backward, but I'm out of hot glue so no fix there.

Well the whole thing held together pretty well. With only a small amount of super glue needed for running repairs to the shoes.


And I even got to meet this lovely Gent, otherwise known as Boba Fett


All in all pretty damned good day.
