A few old school horror props

Gone but not forgotten.
So here is my Hellraiser puzzle box. The cube is a piece of Walnut I had a guy at work cut. This wood is very dense and holds a sharp edge. The panels are photoetched brass. I coated on side with a clear varnish and positioned a panel. After setting overnight the varnish dried locking the panel in place. After all panels were on, it got an overcoat of clear varnish to seal it up.

Next up is my Freddy Kruger glove. Can't remember who made it but it's very nice. The guy no longer makes them as he went back to school. He had several different styles on his site. Brass fingers and straps and copper back plate. The blades are meatl but no idea what type.

Those are great. I've been meaning to get a Freddy glove (that isn't plastic) for quite a while.

I'm ashamed to say I've never seen Hellraiser!

Nice. :) Been wanting a brass Lament Configuration puzzle box for a while, but it always goes to the very-far-back burner.

Glove looks good. Waiting for mine to arrive to display with my Fettster freddy bust.

You used to see the brass panel sets all the time. Now they are very hard to come by. Most of the companies are just making completed boxes and no "do-it-yourself" kits anymore.

I would like to replace the dull blades on my glove with something a little more accurate and sharper. Anyone have any leads on that?

Nice props. I really dig the glove. Nice work on that one. I didn't expect old school to mean Eighties though. I thought these would be at least 3 to 5 decades older.

Oujala, see Hellraiser before the remake comes out. It is an Eighties classic.
