My deal with him still isnt resovled. He has one last PM to respond to and come through. If not, full details of any account we know he has, plus photos of him from different accounts will be made public here.
He has been given several chances to set things straight, but so far hasn't. Last thing we was promised, as a sure thing, was that we would have our money back no later than febuary 1st. We still haven't seen neither our money nor the kits we where promised.

I know the mods are investigating his various activities Staer, hope you guys get something back on this, people of this character have no place in the hobby, and if it is true he has returned under an alias or two.......:sick

Moes1 and I are the same deal. We where getting the kits shipped here as one package to save some on postage. aAnd we both live in Denmark and see eachother occasionally.

OK, here is a picture which im pretty sure is the same man.
It should be boatbuilder, chuck5788, PAT, C.andersen, cigarello2000 (yahoo group) but goes under the user name of Rambo5788 now.
I have PM'ed with Rambo5788 for some time now. He claimes to be a guy called PAT, even has the same last name Anderson and lives in the same city and state as boatbuilder.
PM sent jan 5: "Hi - are you Charles Andersen - Boatbuilder?? "
Reply: "no my name is Pat "
Then I wrote to him several times and again he claimed to be PAT.
Then I presented him with this picture and then things changed a bit.
Reply Jan 8: "I will try to get that to you by first of month send an address please"
So my guess it's the same guy at this point. And I sent him my address and waited. Nothing...
Reply Feb 6: "moe, yes sorry for the delay bills. my tax refund will be here in a week then I will send"
... still waiting, no a word since after several PM's to him.
At this point, he owes me and Stærmose 167 USD.

I thought I would just chime in here and say that its really a damn shame when people get ripped off like this. I always thought this place was like a 'everybody knows everybody' community type deal, and all people like boatbuilder1 or whatever the hell his new alias is is doing, is making poeple wary of engaging in deals. I have seen this happen all too many times over at the KLOV forums.

I have my doubts those kits ever exsisted in the first place :unsure It really is a shame and I hope you end up finding what you we're looking for eventaully.

We appreciate the comments of support from other members, but please, let's keep this thread on track with posts just from the members that have outstanding issues. Here is the list:
1) staermose & moes1 (part of the same deal), 7 model kits (promise of refund?)
2) greatwazoo42, 1 sonic screwdriver (pm promising delivery of screwdriver)
3) Unfated, 1 sonic screwdriver (?)
4) Eyes Only, 1 sonic screwdriver (?)
