A deal with Boatbuilder1/rambo5788 that have gone bad?

Not to be rude or anything, but if a person have a major health problem, and is unable to take care of the business, he or she ought to be able to get someone else to ship the goods out e.g friend, wife, kids, Mom etc. I can't see the problem in that.
I just want my stuff.

I have a deal from someone else here that is seeming rather fishy too. I will not post anything until later in the week since he has 1 more chance to send me the money order by Friday. I have taken steps to keep myself safe ( stop payments, etc) but I know what your feeling.

Last chance ( today ) for that person to give me back my money. I might be starting a new RIP-OFF thread on Monday.

I don't know about diabetes, but he said he had a back problem.
That might be an excuse to not be finished yet, but not a reason
to keep us uninformed about our items

Charlie is a member of my prop forum and I have tried to contact him through emails and PM's for the past 2 weeks regarding this matter, as of this morning I have not heard from him, he does not owe anyone on my board any props/monies as far as I know.

I vaguely remember Boatbuilder1 was into model submarines if this helps to identify him. I think he had a website and IIRC correctly, dabbled with a few not very good resin Eagle Transporter accessories. That was a few years ago.

It wasnt all that long ago i did hear off him on some Y wing debacle. He does use the Falcon builders club on studioscale.com, im maybe not much help but maybe shoot the thread there too? Hope it all works out guys.

I am a member of the group and sent a notification that he needs to respond to this thread before being banned.

Nope, he's gone almost totally off the radar. I recall someone said that he posted on his website that he's in the process of moving. Probably going into hiding considering how bad he pissed some people off.

Re: A deal with Boatbuilder1 that may have gone bad?

Guys, not sure where some of you stand on the monies/goods owed on this thread.
Just wanted to inform you, that this same guy it seems has been going under the handle Cripple on the RI, and is sadly up to old tricks!

Re: A deal with Boatbuilder1 that may have gone bad?

I believe that this is not the first time he's had some delivery issues on this board too. I seem to recall having to go through great efforts to get something from him in the past.

Re: A deal with Boatbuilder1 that may have gone bad?

The situation is as it always has been, he has our money. We have gotten nothing in return.

Thanks for the update though, even if it is a sad one.

Re: A deal with Boatbuilder1 that may have gone bad?

Well check the details out here buddy, im sorry to hear you guys have had no news or refunds...but these types always have to surface at some point...maybe its a lead, maybe its just not worth it.

Good luck anyways fellas.
