I havent really been into Star Wars props for a few years, but recently got the itch to make a few custom sabers, so here they are. The first one is styled like a Japanese katana with leather wrapped grips and golden accents. The main body is parts of an old vacuum hose attachment with an old drill chuck on the bottom. Sorry for the blurry pics.

The second one is made from all store bought parts, a sink tube attachment and some washers, a d ring, marble, a hose attachment for the top and inner black part and an ornamental shelf knob for the emitter. Only thing i suppose not store bought is the grips which were form an old kit i had.

Creativity is what this hobby is all about. Putting a new twist on an old favorite is refreshing. I too liek the second one better but that's probably because it looks more like a traditional lightsaber.

thanks for the compliments :) I too like the second one more, the first one was just kidn of an off the wall idea for somethign different :p

Very nice work :thumbsup

I sense a tremmor in the Force. It is the future I see... a trip Lowe's. Yes, you've inspired me.
