If I had to pick 'an 80s movie' it would be Gremlins.
As well as being an excellent and funny movie, it just seems to encapsulate 'the 1980s' perfectly to me

Yes, excellent 80s comedies, one and all... I'd add Uncle Buck to the list.
Steve Martin and John Candy = 24 carat 80s comedy :thumbsup

Oh, and Ghostbusters would be another 80s movie choice from me!
