I'm the one who commissioned pumpkiny to make this Davison coat for me as I really needed an upgrade from the dyed/modded labcoat I'd been using. Davison is a fav of his so he was quite up for it, he really scoured over the ref pics. We went back and forth on fine tuning some details and moreso on the fabric. Anyway, it's turned out well enough for others to follow suit with their own orders and I'm pleased with the end result!

Good looking stuff. It'll be interesting to compare his work with the final product abbeyshot plans to put out considering they are now aware of our criticisms and also have pumkiny to consider a competitor for our affections.

Are abbyshot doing a fifth Doctor coat as well?
Drunk- I think greatwazoo is referring to Pumpkiny's Tenth Doctor Coat vs Abbyshots. As far as I'm aware Abbyshot have no plans to put out a 5th doctor coat. I don't think Classic Who costume replica licenses having much of a current demand.
However in case anyone is looking for a 5th Doctor coat and doens't want to or can't afford Pumpkiny then Magnoli will make one on commission in the mid three figure range. Baron Boutique used to offer one sometime back in '08 or prior but it's no longer available due to copyright issues. Honest Dragon or Soniceplay on ebay does one fairly cheaply, but it's really not that good IMHO. There was The Mentalist version of the coat I referred to further upthread as well, but I haven't seen him resurface since mid-2008. There's also the dyeing and modifying a labcoat option which is your cheapest bet, but the read is good if you do it right.
Other than that if your a seamstress or know a good seamstress I hear these two make good patterns to work from:
