4.5 ft Eclipse Star Destroyer Model

This has been over 6 months in the making, and I'm so glad to say it's done. We designed the ship in Maya, and 3D printed it on 10 different 3D printers. Assembly was...a challenge, but we learned a great deal about how we can streamline the process if we endeavor to take on another project of this size.

We fitted the ship with fiber optic lights, and created a stand that supports it while reducing clutter and making the ship the focal point.

It looks amazing but honestly the pics are not doing this thing justice. It is very hard to see detail and it does not look very big. It needs something to show the size/scale. I am really anxious to see more of this. The Eclipse is on of my favorites.
