I also noticed that the front part of the cannons are not in line. On the Hasbro toy it is offset by a couple of degrees.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I made cut outs for the windows, which would make the canopy appear thinner on the outside, and yet not compromise rigidity too much. Also, it would allow someone to glue clear plastic inside and hide the marks.

Might want to play around with Tinkercad. It's amazing what you can do just adding and subtracting primitive shapes. It's also designed to import and export Stl's natively. It's free as well, which is a bonus. I use Lightwave myself, and Fusion 360. Lightwave is pricey, but you can get a hobbyist version of Fusion 360 for free for 3 years.

The toy is a pretty good representation of the actual filming model, however, it is still a toy. Here is some things I am working on that can make improvements to those who wish it.

The cannons have a cut out section at the bottom that is really evident when viewed sideways. Attached to this message is an STL that can make it look better, by using a 1/2 inch brass tube to match the length of the part included with the toy.

These were modelled using the Hasbro parts as a reference. If you have suggestions to make the parts look closer to the Studio Model, feel free to post.

I lost them at first, then managed to get them back from someone who downloaded them, however, there is another thread here where someone is releasing their own set. Mine were a bit low rez and chunky. I eventually will improve them.

Replacement Parts for the Hasbro Black Series T-47 (Snow Speeder)

Test install, using an 8G x 25mm screw, based on this test fitting, I now think that these are a little on short side and that an 8G x 30 will be a better choice, as the 25mm ones have already run out of clamping force. May even end up installing M4 nutserts and then use M4 bolts to secure them...
